Golden sunbursts emanate from this garden throughout the year. And, that’s exactly what makes this plant palette feel so at home in Colorado. The floral display will dazzle from spring through fall. The yellows of coreopsis, primrose, blanket flower and yarrow are punctuated with cheerful oranges of California poppy and contrasted by the deep purple oregano, baby blue erigeron and lavender verbena. Fragrant coneflower calms the senses and leaves its structural seed heads, which, in tandem with the umbel yarrow flowers, dramatically catch winter’s first snow. Combine that with winter texture of the ornamental grasses and the evergreen spires of bear grass and the golden glory will show through all year. Plants come in 2.5″ pots.
