Where: Elevations Credit Union, 2300 55th Street, Boulder

Save the date: the CRC’s Annual Dinner and auction fundraiser is scheduled for February 1st.

This event is held at the Boulder Theater and sells out every year. Once again we have our fantastic professional auctioneer, Don Martin, a delicious sit-down dinner and many dreamy auction items (including a Maverick mountain bike, several incredible trips and possibly even a solar thermal system). Tickets are $85 per person. Whether or not you plan to join us that evening, we would love to have you spread the word and also help us gather auction items if you are able. One item that is always greatly appreciated is frequent flyer miles sufficient to cover two tickets either within or outside the U.S., so for all you world travelers, consider this as a donation. If you have questions or want to help out, email Gretchen Lang at glang@conservationcenter.org.

Do you live in Longmont? Do you have high heating bills?

Call for a home energy audit

The CRC’s Residential Energy Audit Program (REAP) is looking for a few motivated individuals in Longmont that would like to increase their home’s energy efficiency and comfort. A REAP audit can help diagnose your home’s energy ailments and recommend the most cost effective ways to increase efficiency and reduce your energy bills. The program, subsidized by Boulder County and Longmont Power and Communications, is only $100 for homes that are 2500 SF or less (a little higher for larger homes). Call to schedule your REAP audit at 303-441-3278 ext. 24

CRC Partners with EcoGreenOffice in Fundraiser

Millions of empty printer cartridges are sent to third world countries for disposal every year.  This is having a devastating effect on the environment and people in these countries.  CRC has teamed with EcoGreenOffice to bring awareness of this issue.

EcoGreenOffice is Colorado’s leader in the cartridge recycling effort.  Drop off your empty cartridges at the CRC office on 1702 Walnut Street in Downtown Boulder and purchase a ‘renewed’ cartridge from EcoGreenOffice and a portion of the proceeds will be returned to the CRC for our conservation efforts.

You can learn more by contacting bryan@ecogreenoffice.com or ajohnson@conservationcenter.org

The CRC Was Named a Beneficiary of the Annual Wisdom Gala Fundraiser

Thanks to our newest Board member, Andrea Ray, the CRC was named as one of three beneficiaries of the annual Wisdom Gala fundraiser in Denver. This event raised $1,450 for the CRC! Our heartfelt appreciation to Andrea, and to Melissa Zeligman at Wisdom.
