The Center for ReSource Conservation’s ReWards are Boulder County’s most prestigious award for the conservation of natural resources. See previous recipients at the bottom of this page.
There are four categories for which an individual or group of individuals can receive recognition:
- Youth Conservation
The Youth Conservation ReWard will go to the individual or group of individuals (under 18 years of age) who has taken initiative and shown passion for conserving resources and working towards a more sustainable future.
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Conservation
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Conservation ReWard will go to the individual or group of individuals who have proven themselves effective in developing creative and effective new products or solutions for helping people conserve resources and work towards a more sustainable future.
- Community Conservation
The Community Conservation ReWard will go to the individual or group of individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and creative vision toward a more sustainable future for Boulder County through the principles of conservation and environmental protection.
- Resource Conservationist of the Year
The ReSource Conservationist of the Year ReWard will go to the individual or group of individuals who embodies the spirit of the CRC and has made tangible and notable efforts in conserving water and energy and reducing waste and embracing the re-use of materials. *Special consideration will be given to nominees who have taken advantage of CRC services and utilized CRC products.
ReWard recipients receive a plaque honoring their outstanding achievement as well as a CRC gift basket. The CRC will widely promote the name and accomplishments of the ReWard recipients for the purpose of providing much deserved recognition and raising awareness about conservation of natural resources and inspiring others to become engaged in similar conservation activities.
